Le paquebot Marella Discovery sera de passage à Saint-Nazaire dimanche 13 mai. Il sera en escale au terminal du Grand Ouest toute la journée. Il s'agit du plus long paquebot reçu en escale jusque-là. Il appartient à la compagnie britannique Marella Cruises, anciennement Thomson TUI, dont c'est également la première escale à Nantes Saint-Nazaire.
Les 2 000 passagers à bord partiront à la découverte de la région. Ils pourront aussi visiter les chantiers navals de Saint-Nazaire.
En fin de journée, le paquebot prendra la direction de Brest, au son de la musique bretonne du groupe XX Celtes.
